Join us for this week-long course where industry experts will define the what, why, and how of quality brewing and measures that should be used by brewers large and small. Taught by industry experts from companies leading the way in brewing quality control and analysis at the craft level, newer and smaller brewers will leave with the essentials for creating a lasting quality program.

This second annual workshop offered by ASBC in conjunction with Colorado State University will combine educational lecture and hands on laboratory work to give attendees the tools to demystify the quality process. This course will take place on the CSU campus and will incorporate brewery visits around Fort Collins and one night will be an out of town experience for an ASBC LABS meeting. Attendees will be working alongside industry experts in a lab setting to incorporate the knowledge learned in the classroom with real world lab experience.

Traveling from Denver International Airport

For those traveling to Colorado by air, Denver International Airport (DIA) is the closest major airport to Fort Collins. Colorado State University is about 65 miles north of the airport and there are several options for transportation following your flight.
  • DIA has over a dozen car rental agencies.
  • Shuttles between the airport and Fort Collins can be arranged with Green Ride or Super Shuttle.

Accommodations

This course does not have an official hotel block as there are many housing options in Fort Collins at various price points. The closest hotel to the course location is the Hilton Fort Collins and is only a short 8 minute walk to the course. The Best Western University Inn is also within walking distance to campus.

Parking on campus

Like any other college campus, parking is limited at CSU. Visitors to the CSU campus may use specially designated visitor zones, any of “A,” “W,” “X,” or “Z” parking areas with a Visitor Parking Permit, or metered or numbered parking spots which require payment.
