About the Webinar

Amidst daily quality checks and unexpected issues that arise in the brewery, documentation can be easy to overlook. This webinar reviews why documenting key procedures and information improves the quality of your lab data and beer quality by extension. It also provides different documentation strategies that work for breweries of many different sizes.

“Documenting the Way to Improved Quality” is split into three sections with three great speakers. Aaron Golston, Lagunitas Brewing Company, will first discuss documenting work instructions and change logs to improve data consistency and validity, as well as the importance of version control. Ben Chambers, Ninkasi Brewing, will then review process mapping as a valuable way to determine sampling and control points. Finally, Kate Devine, Russian River Brewery, will provide valuable explanations on tracking routine data analysis and generating quality reports.
