About the Presenter

Derek Gruter’s education includes a B.S. in Biochemistry and a M.P.H. in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of Southern California. His background includes work in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology. He has over five years laboratory experience, two and a half of those in the craft beer field, and he currently is a Quality Assurance Analyst at Stone Brewing Co.
