Presenter: Cathy Haddock

This webinar ​includes topics on selection, preparation, and standardization of beer flavor training standards, thresholds of flavor standards, ASBC flavor databases, new beer attribute spike calculator, and best practices for preparing and presenting attributes; including proper safety preparation techniques.


​About the Presenter

CHaddock.jpgCathy Haddock joined Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in 1996 as a Quality Assurance lab technician and soon began working part-time in the company’s sensory lab setting up panel tastings. She now manages the company’s sensory lab and is responsible for the development of the brewery’s three taste panels in use today. Cathy received her BS from California State University-Chico and holds several certificates of learning, including the UC Davis Certificate for Applied Sensory Science and Consumer Testing. She is an ASBC member and currently serves on the ASBC Sensory Subcommittee.
