For 25 years, Brian Williams was a dedicated member of the brewing industry community. Brian never thought twice about giving back to the industry that was such an important part of his life. His dedication was evident in the time and skill he committed to the professional organizations that support the industry. A longtime member of the American Society of Brewing Chemists, Brian was a former chair of the Milwaukee Section. He was also very active in the Master Brewers Association of the Americas.

With the help of Brian’s family, ASBC created a scholarship in his name. Because you gave back to the industry that meant so much to Brian, the Brian Williams Foundation surpassed its goal of $20,000 in June 2006 by $4, 075. 51!
Your continued support will provide an annual graduate scholarship to a student pursuing a degree pertinent to brewing science. Help maintain the $20,000 level for the Brian Williams Scholarship Fund endowment. This will allow the ASBC Foundation to present at least one $1,000 scholarship every year to a deserving graduate student in Brian’s name.
