ASBC Northeast LABS Meeting

We are pleased to announce our first ASBC Local Area Brewing Science (LABS) meeting to be held in the Northeast area, co-hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College. Come and join us for an afternoon and evening of science, beer, and friendship!

Participants will have the opportunity to network amongst brewers, industry suppliers, and academic representatives from the State University of New York. We will be offering a workshop on yeast biology in the afternoon, as well as three technical presentations from industry professionals in the evening. The workshop will include microscope use, yeast cell counting, yeast cell viability, and culture and identification of spoilage organisms. Topics in the technical presentations will include yeast viability and vitality, quality control, and yeast culture for microbrewers.

Dinner will be provided. Space is limited for the yeast workshop!
